Since August, 1996, The NF Interactive web site has become a tourist attraction, an information resource, a photo resource, a fun resource, and more importantly, an interactive resource. Thousands of people from all over the world have visited the NFI website to explore the unique culture of Newfoundland. During the spring of 1998 NF Interactive began to experiment with an Olympus digital camera (D-620L) to produce some of the images that appear on the site. We immediately liked the results. The color reproduction, and the overall cleaner picture, made a digital camera a must for the site. Today NF Interactive is using two digital Canon EOS models, that we believe will provide the viewer with top notch imagery. With supurb resolution, these cameras are capable of producing poster size shots, and we plan on doing all our future images in that size. For Newfoundlanders living away, we hope the NF Interactive website will take the sick out of homesick, and allow you to experience a little bit of home @ NF Interactive.
